Increased Security - EMV Chip based cards have globally proven to be the secure way of conducting Debit card transaction. Cards are now being embedded with a microchip to cut down on frauds and present added and advanced security features while conducting your transactions globally.

Additional Features - The newly introduced Visa Debit Card by UAB offers additional features of Point of Sale Transactions (POS), Internet Transactions, and Cash Withdrawal facility through UAE Switch at any ATM machine displaying the Visa Logo both locally and internationally. You can now pay for all your shopping, dining, travel, or other and enjoy cash withdrawal facility with your new card at more than 900,000 local ATMs with the VISA Logo and 22 million retail outlets around the world.

You can also receive SMS alerts on your mobile for transactions made via your UAB Visa Debit Card by registering in UAB Flash Info, UAB's SMS Banking Service.

Usage of Chip card - Combining two technologies, your newly issued UAB Visa Debit Card will work on both chip card and magnetic strip payment terminals. It has been issued with five-year validity and will get automatically renewed upon expiry and made available for delivery at your branch.
